I have Adroid, am in the Caribbean. Had not used my phone for a while, when I opened it today: whatsapp needed updating. So, I updated, but then it kept saying that I needed to update it again. I hit update, then it’s “thinking”, but not downloading. I tried so many times. Restarted phone. Turned phone on and off. Internet connection is working, cuz youtube app is working. I then decided I will delete the app and reinstall it. But it won’t reinstall. Same thing: It won’t load and it keeps asking me again to update.
I have no idea what to do. I hope you are still checking comments and replying.

Clear data will delete all the data from WA and you cannot recover it. Any other solution?
