Tried everything, still can't receive the SMS nor call...Keep telling me that I have tried too many time and have to wait. I follow all the instructions step by step and what is telling me that my phone number is incorrect and it says that I have to wait 41 minutes to try again. Nothing works for android. Not one tutorial from the whole internet. This situation is beyond frustration.

Wrote to whatsapp tech support, received only automatic response with some basic instruction !

WhatsApp is the lamest smartphone app, since the beginning.

Those guys should be banned from public appearance and usage.
