NJ Resident, payed into inemployment for 6 years of full time work. Now I received a letter from the NJ Dept of Employment, they made a mistake and want "their" $$$ back. I appealed but am so upset!! Why did they approve it to begin with?

I live in DE. I had the same issue. I was due back pay from March to mid May. An associate at the DE unemployment had to manually enter my missed weeks of certification. I also had an technical issue entering my weekly certification. Anyway, I've been reachinf out to them since the beginning of April and they sent me an email yesterday telling me my request was denied. They said, I wouldn't receive my 6 weeks of unemployment because I didn't call it in. I waited basically 7 months for them to simply deny me even though a associate manually entered my info and I had issues with certification because of technical appealing the decision but Im furious considering the amount of time and effort Ive put into resolving the matter.

I'm in Virginia. I've been following the rules, nothing for months. Its frustrating you can't get ahold of anyone at unemployment.

Not realizing I was eligible for the pandemic assistance I just filed for unemployment benefits although I did indicate that I hadn't work since March. Will I get unemployment back pay ? How do I apply for the back dated unemployment?

I called today they said they owe me for 6 weeks of 600 they said I’ll get it in 4 to 6 weeks

I just got a email saying payments started on 12/12/2020 the payments were dated 11-21 and previous week but my bank and uc card both still say 0 and no backpay from july to now yet either so i have hope in pa now and believe it'll be fixed within a month or so! Waited over 6 months for this so knowing things are hard for everyone just be patient and keep filing and email if you must!

Anyone that needs help getting their backpay, i was able to speak to someone over the phone and this is what she told me to do so i hope this helps you guys !

go on askedd.edd.ca.gov and click on unemployment insurance benefits then as your subcategory click claim questions then pick “backdate the effective date of my claim” hit continue then fill out the information . Make sure to put it in the format of “mm/dd/yyyy”
