I really love Lions! Lions are the world's best resemblance of royalty, strength, courage, and teamwork. That's why there scientific name genus is Panthera Leo. Also Lions are known as today of both King of the Jungle and King of Beasts in the Animal kingdom.🦁👑

The history of lions in Europe started from antiquity. The Greeks, the Etruscans, and the Romans for example highly praised the lion. For a long time European civilisations that came after continued the antique practice of animal combats, The lion kept his title "king of beasts" and his "universal symbol of power" all the time. Many asiatic civilisations praises the lion the same way as well. Their spread the lion statues all over their lands as well. Except for India, many of them had no native lions. But animal trades were common from the antique silk road around 200 BC. Kings from these countries receives live lions from Mesopotamia for example. Artifacts and some of their words for the lion had a "king" signification. They were greatly impressed by the lion. The Asiatic lion from antique Mesopotamia was first to be called king of beasts and was the most important animal. DNA taken from frozen Cave lion cubs, the Atrox American lion, the Asiatic lion, and North and South African lion shows little differences. At the end of the day, a lion is a lion.
