How is your Arch so slow? Mine starts in like 5 secs on my shitty laptop.

And your archlinux is not in quiet mode. If it was, it would be even faster

Shared on FaceBook for some of my geek peeps to get some LOL moments from your commentary text. I was dual booting Manjaro Net and Windows 10 (separate drives, both SSD) and now I've replace Manjaro with Arch and XFCE.

From GRUB2 selections to usability, Arch is about twenty to thirty seconds faster. My Win10 is from a fresh Win7 Pro SP1 install and immediately upgraded to Win10. I installed Arch from my own guide I developed from the Wiki, Midfingr, LearnLinuxTV and one or two others sources.

Good video, great humor.

I've always noticed that libreoffice and gimp are slower on win 10 compared to linux, probably because of the libraries? Or maybe it's intentional so you have to buy their stuff XD

By how much would Windows have lost if you had used i3wm instead of KDE?

Linux is faster because of its lightweight packages

did you activate the fast boot option on windows? I'm a linux user, just want to know if the "famous" w10 fast boot would be faster

Try doing a performance test... not software launch speed test. Like converting a video or doing somethingheavy things like compressing a file.

You should also set a start up programs on both windows and linux. When the programs start it mean the system is ready.

Using KDE is unfair tbh.... XFCE would have been the right choice
