Don't let drivers dictate what brand of truck to buy. I would have told those drivers to hit the door, there are too many of us who would love a new pete to drive.

I get what you’re saying. When I bought my 2013 Volvo it was leaking in the back of my bed and got it fixed the 1st time... thank God. Man friend just bought a freightliner and a Peterbilt and both are still leaking and dealers can’t find where is coming from... note they’re brand new truck too. I thought to myself that’s weird both dealers can’t find the problem?? Humm so we went ahead and dismantle the upper portion of the truck and found the leak and fixed it. I think is all about luck now days. Hope you guys got yours fixed.

I see a lot of Volvos on the road making money. Lemons happen with every brand nowadays. I have a Freightliner which everybody would talk bad about. But I love it. KWs and Pete’s are overpriced in my opinion with lack of service centers. I would own a Volvo. But I would never have a sunroof on anything even a pick up truck. Always a problem

Nice, you don’t need vaccination in order to enjoy a waterfall… But there’s really nothing like Volvo’s, I don’t see that issue been a Volvo issue, the issue is whoever replaced that glass first time.

Thanks for post, If volvo fixes items damaged all is good for drivers and your dad, cross your fingers for no more leaks in future, time will tell. They are nice trucks, big money though, But they make money, keep on trucking be safe out their on the roads! PEACE!

I love the way a volvo drives but the quality is shit. After electric issues w the 2015 vnl I went with a Cascadia and it's been pretty good but drives like shit.

I would NEVER purchase a Volvo. They do not care about quality, it’s all plastic plastic and more cheap grey plastic and more cheap plastic. I feel for your dad. I about spit my coffee out when I heard what those are costing. Of course it’s been a little over 20 years since being in the truck buying game. back then $120, 000 was a top of the line KW or Pete. Gently used 100, 000 miles for 85-90g.

Volvo semis are money pits. Watch Indiana Jacks channel. His truck needed expensive repairs frequently.

Volvo's are junk, who would take a Volvo over a Peterbilt anyway?
