I live in Pittsburgh, I also think the Pirates are a FARM team for the rest of the MLB. They didn't think of the fans when they made these trades, they thought of the money they would put in their pockets. Andre McCutchen pay for 2018 was 14. some odd million, THAT'S why they traded him.

No chance of seeing either of those things from the Pirates until they luck into another MVP caliber player in the draft. That's probably 10-20 years from now.
