Tudor Black Bay 36 mercedes hands!

An improvement to a unpopular watch.

The original dial and handset are amongst the most visual striking, being all geometrical forms...would have never done this. Visually a step backwards in my eyes.

Great looking watch with the merc hands. Those snowflake hands are the only thing stopping me from buying a Tudor. I don’t mind the snowflake hands on a Pelagos, because they have always had them from the beginning. But I’m not a fan of titanium.

Cool mod, though I was also fine with the original hands. Small bit of advice, maybe set the hands to 10:10 for a video, just so we can see the whole dial.

I think it looks great. I personally prefer the snowflake handset especially for its legibility. Bit this still looks really nice

Does the lume on the hands match to the lume on die dial?

Nice mod. Are those hands the ETA version of a 40mm submariner? I know you still kept the original Tudor minute hands but am curious if the minute hand for the 40mm sub would fit on this BB36.

Interesting look. I wouldn’t have the confidence to do it. I think the seconds hand is an improvement over the original as it fits better with the indices. I think the hour hand should stay, it’s Tudor’s trademark and what separates them from Rolex, now it just looks like a Rolex. Good job though, brave to do it.
