I spent 6 months in La Paz in 2003, volunteering as a designer at a museum there, good to see not a lot has changed. At the end of those 6 months, back in the UK I felt as fit as professional athlete 😂.

Congratulations friend, in twenty minutes you managed to summarize part of the general history of Bolivia, just inform you that the capital of Bolivia is the city of Sucre, and not the City of LA PAZ, also thank you for visiting my country, and showing some of its landscapes, geography and culture, I hope you had a pleasant stay, best regards from the south of Bolivia 🇧🇴

I’ve always wanted to visit bolivia Peru & Mexico, these places fascinate me as I read a lot of history and learned Spanish to read more! The past seems so mythical yet it was so real and places like these are radiating with history

Back in the late 1960s my family was there for a few months, to import a car you had to agree to use it as a taxi for X number of years.

Good Job, I am also an American whose parents are from Bolivia. Bolivia is one of the best countries aside from US in my opinion. I feel like home when I am there.

I had a similar experience in Lima Peru. I met a woman in her mid 20s that had never left her tiny district in Lima, maybe a 2 mile square. Mostly because of extreme poverty. She didn't have the means or a reason to leave. She wasn't an uncommon case either, most people in the world will never leave the city they're born in, especially third world countries.

I love to learn about different cultures and visit places through your channel! I especially love Latin America and glad to see you featured Bolivia. I wish we got to see some of the food like saltenas, which are like a soupy empanada!

I'm using this for my English class, we're from Bolivia. Thanks! Right when you mentioned the altitude I thought Oh my god this poor gringuito is suffering HARD with the sorojchi (altitude sickness) :(

Decentralized transit actually looks neat. All kinds of people working to solve the problem of transport. More freedom than america in that sense, you can walk (if you can get used to the air), cable car, or pick from hundreds of different transport cars.

Crazy to see the effects of the high altitude, I used to live in Quito so I know what it feels like, but now that I live by the beach I definitely feel how much easier it is to breathe here.

Thanks for sharing. Beautiful country, its indigenous manifestations are still strongly alive! This warms my heart.
