With a bit of post processing you can bring out the quality in your wildlife photography photos. In this video I will show you my thought process, and show several ways and personal techniques how I edit my photos. With a twist, as I am editing YOUR photos which you have sent me.

This channel is all about wildlife photography! Every week I upload a new vlog where I go into nature and photograph the wildlife around me. Do not forget to subscribe :)

I think it’s really interesting to see how you edited the images. It’s valuable too to hear your thought process about retaining atmosphere and the feel of the image while you make changes. .On a separate topic, , if anyone does not have Jeroen’s book on tracking animals, I would recommend it strongly. It’s beautifully put together and a really handy size. Thanks Jeroen

Thank you so much for choosing one of my pictures! I really like the end result and it’s about time I got Topaz Sharpening AI. Currently I only own DeNoise.

Great video Jeroen. I always find it fascinating how we can all edit a photo differently and come up with different results. There is no real right or wrong just what your preference is. Cheers Keith

Great video Jeroen - Realy interesting about the control points with Viveza - before I switched to Lightroom I had something similar in the Nikon RAW editor and it was really useful! I have to admit that in colour I thought the red deer eyes were too strong, but in the black and white conversion it's fantastic :)

Monochrome edits are a good idea for deer, I have to try that as well :) I have to ask: what happened there at 1:07, is it a running gag that I am not familiar with? Crazy remix you got there! Cheers

Excellent vlog Jeroen nice tips for processing photos, can't wait to try them out on some photos I have but didn't like as I didn't know how to process them to make them a bit more pleasing to the eye. I already have Topaz software or I would have used your discount link.

Thanks.

As a new subscriber with only a few videos seen, I don't know what I am supposed to know, if that makes sense. Like am I supposed to know what software you use for your post processing? I don't recall you telling me/your viewers what you are using in this video. I see the Check out the NIK Collection statement but I never heard of it and cliking on the link it appears to augment Lr or PS, but I am not sure. So as a new subscriber I find I need a bit more explaining.
