My suitcase is always half packed with my passport sat on top. Had 3 months in Thailand this past high season. Looking to head to the Philippines this next high season. Thanks for highlighting this accurate information. Also YES....I guarantee in the next few years the number of us non-woke blokes will probably have to pay a premium to escape the clown world.

The Philippines just let the US set up 9 military bases in the country. We also have a mutual defense treaty. They definitely aren't gonna stifle US travelers.

Even Japan Rail is increasing their prices by 77% due to tourism. Now it's like $500 for a week! Everything's just gonna keep getting more and more expensive (while our pay remains around the same).

as a 40yr man, i only swipe right on 18-26yr women. if she still 30yr+ single in the streets, dont save em, they already made their decision when they thru their 20s away. so far in past 2 years i dated 4x girls in their 20s with less bodies. and they are more easier to deal with.

The whole thing of moving to the Philippines has caught on like a wildfire and spread to so many areas, including a huge number of vloggers that talk about it.
Anything good that goes public, eventually becomes too well known and the opportunistic individuals and government agencies will make their money and control it.
I also feel that the Filipino people are already changing as the expats come in and the world light is shined on them.
Places like Dumagette in the Philippines have seen so many expats that expats are not as interesting and the Filipino people are also now looking at foreigners in a similar way that they do in the west.
The Filipina is becoming more westernized and all the men that leave the west and are looking for the ideal women, are likely to find out it's not what it was, just months ago.

As long as foreigners bring their money, I don’t think we need to worry too much. Thailand, though, can be a hassle to stay. Border runs are common.

Regarding the economic reasons for visas being harder. I think it’s actually the west that has more of an incentive to keep people in than poorer countries to keep people out.

This is especially true in the US where expats still pay Federal tax and have to obey federal law. Rich American expatriates often renounce citizenship because of this, so it’s often the US government that want to stop other countries from being tax havens with programs like the golden passport.

This is something that isn't going to be enforced unless it's to clamp down on specific derps/you majorly screw up.

The Philippines see the value of tourist, and has tried to make it easy to travel there. They don't always get it right, but they do try.

The Thai government in conjunction with the Thailand Board of Investment (BOI) have rolled out a series of new visas aimed at increasing the number of high-value foreigners, retirees, and remote workers. I got my 10-year Long Term Retirement (LTR) visa, and it was a VERY easy process!

WHen I lived in Costa Rica 90% of people had to go to Nicaragua every 90 days to get passport stamped. If you didn't have a lot of money Costa Rica did not wanna let you move there.

They already have a tax in the philippines, you used to pay an exit tax at the airport before you get to your terminal. But they stopped doing that, after they renovated ninoy aquino airport, they include your exit tax onto your plane ticket price. They will probably increase the tax on if they havent already.

There are already 8.7 million Americans working and living abroad. We are more in demand in the foreign job market than any other group of people in the world dude. If you speak Chinese too you are virtually a God of Employment Opportunities.
