I don't really know what it is, but the fact that this animation has a VHS filter over it makes it feel more wholesome to me. Like you're going through important memories of your life, that and the vibe of the animations themselves make me feel happy. I absolutely loved this even though it's short, well done!

And Sorry this is long but The "Hey do you remember? When we met for the first time?" Hits so hard cause I was like 13 when it came out, and was really going through that existential dread thing kids/teens go through sometimes. I would stay up late worried about the future, and my brain clung to The Stanley Parable so hard, despite its emptiness scaring me a bit. The Narrator kind of calmed me.

Getting to play Ultra Deluxe myself after all those years made me realize I relate WAY TOO MUCH to the Narrator. Especially the skip button part.
