Thanksgiving Stuffing with Chicken Sausage
Serves 6-8
Ingredients
Neutral oil as needed
12 oz chicken sausage
3 tablespoons butter
1 tablespoon minced garlic
1 sweet onion diced
4 celery ribs diced
875 ml of chicken stock
1 lb of croutons.
Chopped parsley as needed
Kosher salt to taste
Instructions.
1. Warm the chicken stock in a small pot on low heat
2. Add oil to a pan on medium heat. When the oil is warm add your sausages and let brown for 1-2 minutes. Remove and transfer to a tray line with paper towel.
3. In the same pan melt the butter then add the minced garlic and fry on low until it’s fragrant
4. After that add the onion and celery along with a pinch of kosher salt and cook until translucent.
5. Stir in some chopped parsley and transfer to a mixing bowl, along with your sausages from early and croutons.
6. Gradually add your warm chicken stock and mix until all the croutons is soaked.
7. Transfer to a 9 x 13 baking dish, cover with parchment paper and foil
8. Bake at 375 degrees Fahrenheit for 20 minutes. Remove the foil and parchment paper and bake for another 10 minutes
9. Garnish with more chopped parsley and serve hot.
