Quick pro tip for the deadshot easter egg if on solo, pause and change your FOV down to 60 while shooting for easy targeting and quickly switch back when done

Double crit damage is good for one shot weapons, but for an assault rifle or submachine gun with normal crit damage. It also is countered by the awful armored zombies blocking headshots with their helmets, thus negating the effect

The reason why the first major augment is so low is because it's multiplier is additive to the base headshot multiplier not multiplicative. Basically
Base-damage x (multiplayer headshot multiplier* + zombies headshot multiplier** + deadshot (0.1 or 0.2 if you use the 1st augment)) x rarity level x pap level

But the equation for the second augment is:

(Base damage x (headshot multiplayer + zombies + 10% from deadshot Base perk) x rarity x pap level) x 2 (because of second deadshot augment)

Now you could maximize it further, put on a fire augment which adds another multiplier and the minor augment vulnera bean which adds another multiplier to anything you have elemental superiority to.

I think deadshot should be end of equation multiplier and not just be added to base headshot because other than first shot using the 2nd augment, the perk feels horrible, the 1st MAJOR( not minor as this is supposed to be a big buff) is basically worthless at high round and running it makes the perk almost worthless unless you use the 2nd or 3rd major augment.

*for example ak74 just got nerfed from 1.3 to 1.15 which does affect zombies and you can see this damage when inspecting the weapon in the gunsmith and look at the number for headshots
**idk what the zombies headshot multiplier for snipers is but ARs is about 3.5x to 4x and the pistols is about 5x

Pro Tip, Dead Head is best for boss zombies and bosses while Dead First is better for railing into a hordes of zombies where loads of those hits will be crazy big

I’ve been leveling them all up. Did the frost line last and it’s been my favorite by far. 84k damage on zombies gold tier level 3 it’s nuts

Just so you know for future testing...you can just save your run and switch augments. When you load your save file you will have the newly selected augments. No need to make a new run

You might be able to do more damage because jug gives you more damage when low health

All I hear is Napalm u guys are missing out on the real damage

Shadow rift - augments - big game - haste

Elemental pop - electric cherry - chill berry

Deadshot daiquiri - dead head - dead break

YOU don’t want to use citrus focus on elemental pop because u are losing out on more damage

For example if u have cryo freeze with the augments frozen stuff - freezer burn napalm with big game - contact burn, when u shoot and active cryo and freeze elite or boss u then trigger napalm after deal double more damage because the enemy is frozen
Same for if u activated shadow rift right after the boss will teleport while it’s still burnt

U can make it way better by running two guns with the same ammo mod on to trigger it twice or two different to make a beast build

Just random tips.

To do the deadshot daquiri Easter egg, you don't require a sniper rifle. However, you can NOT just do it with any weapon. For example, pistols will always fail despite not missing.

So, any smg or rifle of any category can work. Remember that many weapons can have their fire mode toggled to semi-auto. Aiming idle sway reduction is more important than recoil control here.

I’ve said from day one that we’ll only fully appreciate the game design once we unlock all the Augments and start to understand their impact on gameplay.
