Lemon Deodorant?

I think lemons are a wonderful source of dietary vitamin C, but because their pH level it’s much lower than our skin‘s pH, it can potentially lead to skin barrier dysfunction and irritation. There are safer and more effective ways to treat body odor.

I squeeze the lemon and use a cloth to apply the juice. It’s literally the only thing that has ever really worked. It completely eliminated odor.

Been using for 2 years now. I apply every two days as it lasts even after showering the next day. Zero issues. I also put mines in a spray bottle and add a tiny bit of distilled water

Many of the people advocating for lemon use even after watching your video are black. All of the examples of irritated skin in ur vid are on much fairer skin types. Might there be a difference in effect on skin types?

Aight. Finna stick to using lemons as deodorant. I never smell no matter how sweaty and hot I get. I'm also a very active person so this beats any deodorant. Plus it has drastically lightened my pits.

I think people should do their own research and weigh out the risks for any decision in their life. There are chemicals in deodorant that are extremely toxic and some that cause cancer. I remember doing a bunch of research on the chemicals in toothpaste that we shouldn't be putting anywhere near our mouth and then seeing a YouTube video with professionals talking about how horrible activated charcoal is because it's abrasive. And don't get me wrong that may be true but I couldn't help but think to myself why are they doing a whole news program on the dangers of activated charcoal when there are so many dangerous chemicals in store bought toothpaste that people need to be made aware of and frankly should be recalled for health and safety risk.

I don’t use the fruit…i use the rind. Make sure you get all the fruit out of the rind. You can also mix your own deodorant with coconut oil, arrowroot starch, baking soda & essential oil or powdered lemon zest

My sons mom uses limes and has for a wild and she never stinks well she’s also plant based but she doesn’t use deodorant, always uses limes and she’s never had anything wrong, I now use lemons and limes 😊

I have a question because I searched up the ph level of lemon and glycol acid and they are both around 2-3 and now i wonder many dermatologist do recommend products with an acidity the same as lemon but when people use lemon it is bad. Could you explain how that works because I think if you use lemon once a week just like an exfoliater and you make shure to protect and moisturize your skin… wont it actually be a great thing to use? I would like to know if lemon in that can be a good thing?

I used poison deodorant for 38 years switch to lemons and I couldn’t be happier no rash my skin didn’t fall off and I don’t have dermatitis. Also, I have no armpit odor.
