I’m hung up on the fact that it looked like she was crying at this tragic loss 💀

My late fiancé still had a baby tooth at 28 years old. I loved how cute it looked. I miss him so much :/

Can confirm. I am almost 18 and still have a baby tooth. My Dentist says that I need to try my best to keep it because I don't have an adult tooth under it.

I definitely lost mine early. The last one I remember losing was in 2nd grade but according to my mom I started losing them at 3. I usually had several missing at the same time.

My uncle didn’t have lots of adult teeth underneath his baby teeth. The roots do did love on their own most of the time but it’s the pressure of the adult tooth pushing on the baby tooth that helps push it out. And since my uncle didn’t have adult teeth underneath he lost his last baby tooth at 34.

At 14 I am proud to say one baby tooth is still stuck in my head. Not planning on losing it. My mom is 43 and has one as well.

THANK YOU!!! I've always felt weird still losing certain teeth at 16 (canines really wanted to stay in lmao) but knowing they come out depending on the person makes me feel a lot better

my grandma had a friend who still had some of her baby teeth when she was either 30 or 40 (i can’t remember which one it was but it’s impressive)

I still have my last one and I'm 51. At this point I'm doing all I can to keep that sucker, its at the front!

I still had a baby tooth at 18, the dentist I went to told me that based on the look of things and how my root is still going strong, it's unlikely the tooth is gonna fall out. Plus the adult teeth that's supposed to replace it isn't insisting or pressing on it. It's just chilling there, letting the baby tooth do its own thing.

After I lost my first baby tooth, I just started yanking them out of my head. I had some of my teeth missing for a couple years because I yanked the baby teeth before they were ready haha

Just me vibing over here with a whole half of my baby teeth intact cuz my adult teeth either didn't develop or won't come in at all 😂😅💀 bro I'm 20. Had to get some pulled cuz I had extra baby teeth underneath.

A blessing I only developed a single wisdom tooth

Me who would rip out a baby tooth the moment I thought I felt a wiggle:
I lost all my baby teeth by the time I was 12 lol

If there’s one thing that’s a permanent truth in dentistry, it’s that every person is a case by case basis.
Now, we’re all humans, so my teeth are VERY similar to yours (yes you, sexy people reading this comment lmao), but we all have our own issues, habits, lives, biological functions and tendencies, etc.
You give the world a pretty smile one mouth at a time.

I’m 34 and still have two baby canine teeth on the top. The adult teeth are in the bone above my front incisors, never to see the light of day. The amount of work involved to pull them down would be super expensive and not worth it. But it’s fun to freak out dentists when they see “extra” teeth on my X-rays lol

My uncle was about 40 when he lost his last baby tooth and that is still crazy to me to this day.

Wow I finally can relate to one short from bentist. In 2021 I noticed that one of my permanent canines was growing in the back of my canine which I thought it was my permanent one but it wasn't. I went to the dentist, did some 3D scans and noticed that my baby tooth had a strong root. Eventually I started wearing braces and it's been almost two years, now I have to put the braces on the bottom to correct my bite because one of my bottom canines is a bit rotated. If you reached this sentence, thank you for reading my story, have a brilliant day!
