DON’T WASTE TIME DISASSEMBLING WHOLE UNIT. Disclaimer: I’m not a pro tech. If you remove the two screws holding on the top cover (front screws inside the door pointing up) you can gently pop the front of the top cover loose without disassembling the back and control panel. I used two wood shims under the top cover about 2/3 of the way back to keep it propped. You can then access the two 1/4” bolts holding on the front face with a wrench. Ratcheting box wrench is a real help in this situation. After that. The front is loose. Just carefully lean it forward, disconnect the wires, and lift it off the three tabs. Reverse to reassemble. I refused to disassemble the whole thing for front panel access so I tried this approach and it worked well. Hope it does for you too!

Hello,
I had question about the lint duct trap. Theres a vent hole only on the right side. It’s between your hands at 8:57. I accidentally broke it off thinking it was a screw. Would you happen to know what that is too and do I need to get the plastic piece out for safety?
