Half the people banging on about the lootboxes don't know what they're talking about. You make money in the game and can buy cars with it. You level up and can choose a car. You can opt to spend your in game money on lootboxes fora chance to get something much better than you could have with the money you spent. There were microtransactions in FM6 yet all of a sudden it's a big deal lol.

Thanks for giving this game a fair review, unlike so many others.  It's easily my favorite Forza game in a LONG time - it looks stunning in 4K HDR 60fps, and plays just as good.  The reaction everyone had to the "loot crates" was really overblown with this game; if anything buying crates and equipping mods gives you something to do during loading times, and mixing up mod cards to maximize your earnings is kinda fun.  And NEVER AT ANY POINT IN TIME do you feel forced to buy them, and you can ignore them entirely and play thru the game if you wanted.  I bought both F7 and PCars2 and I spend 90% of my time with F7 - it's just a better looking, more controller friendly game.

I don't know why this type of Racing Simulator just took off in terms of a franchise for modern day games, when the Arcade Racing genre went to complete shit with over-saturated NFS crap after crap titles.

Bring back Burnout, I want my carnage and vehicular destruction again with non-stop adrenaline boosts in crazy-ass aggressive races. I never thought I'd actually say this, but I want a Micheal Bay inspired arcade racing game, where cars unrealistically explode if hit the wrong way.

That's how boring this simulation stuff is, I actually want to stoop to Micheal Bay levels of entertainment.

Hi! On Forza 7, do you know if the game keeps track of your lap times instead of just your best lap? Like in the saved replays on Forza 6, there’s no record of lap times anywhere.

Forza has become the COD of racing games. They just keep adding more stuff and think no one will notice. Forza 7 especially is just Mario Kart with real world cars and tracks, shiny graphics and a Top Gear like story cinematic presentation. If you think of it like that and sit on your sofa/desk playing with a controller, the game is fine. But if you are looking for a simulation or a realistic driving game (this is *FAR* from that btw), then you will be disappointed. The physics, handling, steering wheel support, frustrating AI, no FOV support, microtransactions that will be paid soon...all make it not worth it. Far better options like Project Cars 2, rFactor 2, Assetto Corsa, Automobillista exist. I played the demo with the GT2RS and it handled like absolute dogshit. Uninstalled it after about 20 mins. This game pales in comparison to Forza Motorsport 4 even. Now that's a proper racing game.
