good vid, but another way you can do this is by subtracting 18 from 54 and dividing by 6 (since 54 is the 7th term and 18 is the 1st term so 7-1 =6).

54-18 = 36
36÷6 = 6

You can do this and still get the same ans for the common difference

Is the formula the same if the a1 is a negative number?
