Winter Camping in My Hot Stone House, 2 Days in Heavy Snow, Bushcraft Survival Shelter, Fireplace

Hello everyone.
In this video, I spent 2 days in my stone house that I made before. I've included a short summary for those who haven't watched it before. There was heavy snowfall. When I was building my stone house, I dreamed of coming back occasionally and camping. It was very nice to come home ready, to light the fireplace and sit warmly. It was a good camp for me. I hope you will like it. Enjoy watching.

Another fabulous video. Clearly he is a seasoned outdoorsman and he knows what he is doing. If he did not want to be found, then building a fire, no matter it’s size, would be out of the question. You see, the scent can be smelt miles away, and by following that scent the outdoorsman/women, will, not might, be found. It is like a beacon.

I grew up in the mountains of NM, every hunting season some one would manage to get lost. I have spent many nights in make shift shelters. Looking for lost hunters. Surviveing on Bean burritos, and water. We never lost anyone love the video.

I love all of the outbackers & woodland treckers taking breaks from society to make minni huts & live a simple life. I know the way it feels to put the effort & energy into building a minni hut & the relaxing feeling of acomplishment wen the building is done. I miss doing that.

Before i leave, i would leave the fireplace ready for the next time. When you arrive, you might be tired, soaked, or at night. You dont have to look for dry firewood, just one move and you have fire to warm you up.

Yes, to prepare the fireplace for to strike only a match the next time is a good suggestion, also to stock some firewood .An old carpet would upgrade the door and a therm-a-rest the comfort
