I have a stove that I made from an old steel mailbox and dryer vent tubes. Everything packs inside the mailbox and it works like a charm.

Having experienced this personally, I can affirm that living in a tent in the coldest environment is truly challenging. Numerous things can go awry. If you're not quick on your feet, I strongly advise against attempting this.

Check out: Thermette NZ. They're awesome. I have an one that I first used on a bush track cutting crew in the 70s. Cooked my lunch on my shovel over it sometimes too! Also, skirting your tent with a snow bund will help trap heat in. 👍🏼

How's the stove for not getting smoked out. Every stove I have tried I get seriously smoked out every time I either start the fire for the first 2 hours, or it gets low down to coals within 1 hour 1.5hkurs tops and then I open it and it smokes me out, and when I add wood it then smothers it and smokes me out 10x more to the point where I have too bail out of the tent coughing like customgrow420 after he takes the 1 grab dab haha
