This video is riddled with errors. Here are my corrections and comments. Buckle up there’s a lot of them.

1. USA is larger than China.
2. Alabama’s largest city is Huntsville, but Birmingham is close.
3. Alaska is definitely most famous for its outdoors, national parks and hiking and such.
4. Arkansas is most famous for diamonds.
5. California is famous for beaches in LA and being ridiculously expensive to live there.
6. Connecticut does not border Vermont. The Air Force academy is not in Connecticut, but Colorado.
7. Georgia’s most populated city is Atlanta, not Savannah.
8. Illinois… man this entry is incomprehensible. It is the 6th most populous state, largest city is by far Chicago, but yes the capital is Springfield. Probably most famous for Chicago.
9. Indiana is ranked 38 in land area and 17 in population. Most famous for the Indianapolis 500, a car race.
10. The Midwest does not stretch from the Mississippi River to the Rocky Mountains. It is loosely defined as North Dakota, south to Kansas and east to Ohio. Iowa is a small state and also does not stretch from the Mississippi to the Rockies.
11. Kansas is most famous for tornados because of the book and movie The Wizard of Oz.
12. Every bordering state of Kentucky is wrong, and there are too many to bother listing them. Just look at a map.
13. Louisiana is actually 100% correct. I would also mention hurricanes but nothing factually wrong about what was said in this part of the video.
14. Maine is basically just famous for lobsters, but I guess the forests? I wouldn’t know how to verify the other things but I’ve only ever heard of it being famous for lobsters.
15. Maryland is not the smallest state. That is Rhode Island. The capital is Annapolis, not Baltimore. It was a slave state, not a free state, which was a major worry of the north in the civil war because it chose to secede, the capital of the Union would be completely surrounded by confederate land. Ultimately it did not secede.
16. Massachusetts borders are not correct. Just check a map. Yes it is famous for all those things it listed, but it would be more accurate to say it’s famous for its role in the American Revolution than just the Boston Tea Party, and professional sports as a whole. Maybe basketball was mentioned specifically because that’s where it was invented?
17. I didn’t bother to check the numbers but the rest of the Michigan facts are correct.
18. Mississippi is not the second largest state in America. It ranks 32. Really it’s most famous for having a fun name to say and spell, but its cuisine is pretty famous too I suppose.
19. Missouri is most famous for the Gateway Arch in St. Louis.
20. Minnesota is most famous for having a ton of lakes and being cold.
21. North of Montana is not Wyoming (south) but Canada, specifically Alberta and Saskatchewan. Borders North and South Dakota to the East. It is famous for the mountains in the west and “Big Sky country” in the east because it’s so flat.
22. Nothing stuck out to me as wrong about Nebraska. Definitely most famous for corn.
23. Nevada is correct. Most famous for Las Vegas.
24. One of 2 original 13 colonies? Really? Clearly nobody proofread the script. Never heard anything about the crossroads bit, but it is famous for its independence values. Its motto is “live free or die”. Most famous for White Mountain which used to have the shape of a face. Look up Man in the Mountain.
25. I guess New Jersey is accurate? Idk it’s not really famous in my experience.
26. New Mexico, one of the original states to enter the Union in 1912? Not even close. It was one of the last, actually. I fact checked the forests and was surprised to find out there are actually forests in the North. I’d say it’s most famous for chili peppers and the hot air balloon festival.
27. New York is just famous for New York City. Bull run should not have been brought up in the New York section.
28. North Carolina is most famous for the Wright brothers’ inventing the airplane.
29. North Dakota does not border Nebraska, as is shown literally onscreen on the map.
30. Surprisingly, all the information about Ohio is correct.
31. Oklahoma is most famous for tornados and the Trail of Tears.
32. Oregon is most famous for crater lake, which they actually showed a picture of.
33. Pennsylvania also is not the second largest state. Honestly I’m convinced they used a AI to write the script before it was fully trained.
34. I didn’t catch anything wrong with Rhode Island but I’m done looking up info for this.
35. South Carolina does not border Tennessee. Famous for palmettos and being the first state to secede prior to the civil war.
36. Why did they show Mount Rushmore without mentioning its name?
37. Tennessee is accurate.
38. Texas is famous for patriotism and state pride and is ACTUALLY the second largest state.
39. Utah was not the first state to legalize medical marijuana. It is most famous for being the headquarters of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. They even showed a picture of the Salt Lake City Temple.
40. Vermont was not one of the 13 colonies, but it was part of New York State at the time. It was not the first state to ratify the constitution. It is most famous for maple syrup.
41. Virginia is probably most famous for its involvement in the revolution and the founding of America.
42. They clearly combined Washington DC with Washington state. The state is in the northwest and is famous for apples and rain, and DC is on land donated by Maryland in the mid-Atlantic, over 1000 miles away. Most famous for the White House and being the capital of the USA.
43. West Virginia… sure let’s say it’s accurate. It is in the middle of the Appalachian mountains so let’s go with that.
44. I don’t know about the largest music festival in the world (if it’s true, it’s called Summerfest and it’s in Milwaukee), but Wisconsin is most famous for cheese and beer.
45. Wyoming is most famous for Yellowstone, the world’s first national park.
