Your last suggestion about if it rains was spot on because Tesla could tie it in to the rain sensors in the wipers that is their already! That would be cool especially parking it outside during the summer!

Many years ago, 2002ish, I worked for a remote starter company. One of the products was an addition to power windows. Where it would automatically open the windows if the car got hot. But if it sensed rain, it would close them up. I know the Tesla has automatic windshield wipers, thus the rain sensor is there. Please tell me they were smart enough to implement that ability to sense the rain and shut the windows/roof.

why can't porsche or mercedes benz give their cars this technology. looks like bmw and tesla are the only two car companies that offer this feature. not even those $150, 000-$500, 000 cars offer technology like tesla. you are definitely on my to get list for 2017, i will be getting rid of my porsche panamera s for the tesla model s.
