I Knead You - RU Animation (2024)

A cat named Sesame runs a successful bakery alone, but the stress is starting to get to him! Now he must learn how to accept some help!

I Knead You is Rutgers Animation Club's short film for the 2023-24 school year. Over 30 students of all skill levels and backgrounds worked together to pitch, workshop, storyboard, and animate the film throughout the year.

I like how clear it is that these are different people animating different scenes. Perhaps it's inconsistent, but it has a charm to it that's sweet in a way. I'd love to see more works like this.

as someone who is passionate about baking, this animation is really really cute <3 I love the entire scene where he is teaching them how to bake its so lovely. I also really like the little part near the end where the mom gets the bread out of the oven and closes it with her tail. Not only the fact that she did that but the perspective in that scene was done very well. Love this keep up the good work! ^^
