Troy Aikman on Mahomes passing GOAT Tom Brady “Anything Is Possible”

I've been a life long Patriots fan. Mahomes could be on his way to three SB rings. I think Mahomes is the only one who can catch Brady. If he plans on it, he better prepare for another 10 years.

Its not all about the.numbers, its also about how you play and how talented you are. Bradys big deal was his mental analness to win and Patrick has alot of that plus better skills. Aaron Rodgers had the skills but not tuff mentally... Mahommes is a combo of Brady and Aaron...
Jordan didnt have all the numbers, but the eye test surely shows he is the greatest talent ever seen...like Mahommes...

He is called The GOAT for so many reasons, More than 20 years in the NFL. It's was the longevity, 6 Superbowl wins with the Patriots. Then he starts with a New team and wins the SUPERBOWL against Patrick Mahomes at 40 some years old!!!! Come on NOW!!! On top of that this guy is so HUMBLE!!! TOM BRADY IS THE GOAT!!!!❤

I don't think anyone will catch or pass Brady, but if anyone has a chance to come close, it's Mahomes.

Based on efficiency metrics, if Mahomes is currently on pace to eclipse Brady in pretty much every statistical category, and it would take him less years to set those records than it did with Brady. However, there is no guarantee that Mahomes can keep up the level that he performs at now

The biggest thing imo is injuries!!! If he stays healthy like Brady did he has a shot!! Even if mahomes passed Brady in rings the critics will just say that mahomes has never beaten Tom Brady in the playoffs!! It’s just like all the critics point out that even though harbaugh and Michigan got a win over OSU they never beat urban Meyers buckeyes!!

BIGGEST problem with the rings is that they are a "team" thing, not an individual thing... For every ring Brady has, there are 52 other "players" (and coaches / others) that have one too, and some have multiple rings with him... Gronk has 4... SB MVP is an individual award, but there 52 other SB winning players on that same team... Brady's first 3 SB'S were mostly based on the Pats Defense and Adam Vinatieri's leg... The last 2, Mahomes had the win in the 2018 AFC Championship game until the Dee Ford offsides penalty saved the game losing Brady Int... In the 2020 SB, with a 3rd string o-line and running for his life on a bad toe, if his receivers would have caught the balls, the Chiefs would have won... There were 3 TD'S dropped... Also, if you watch the NFL top 100 Mahomes number 1 for that season, at the end they have that game footage and the Buc players talking about Mahomes being the best player on the field and how crazy good he was... In the footage during the game, and in interviews, the BUCS players are praising Mahomes about that SB loss... So Brady stole 2 from Mahomes and got his first 3 with the defense and kicker being 75% responsible... While Mahomes never had a chance to touch the ball again when the offsides saved Brady, and his receivers dropped 3 TD'S (Tyreek Hill had 1) and several other passes (including Kelce drops)... Yet Mahomes has been to 4 of the last 5 SB'S, and in the AFC Championship game 6 years straight, and this is the first time he hasn't had to do most of it with a mid-pack defense... Throw in the rest of the accolades and the fact he has been on pace to break most of Brady's records in his 17th season, 16th starting, and all Brady has is the rings that are a "team" award, not an individual award... Just My Humble Opinion based on stats and facts...
