Troy is being very humble. For about 4-5 years in the mid-90s, he was as good as any QB to have ever played. The offensive system restricted his capabilities. He's one of the most underutilized and underappreciated players to have played the game.

Although Brady is the goat, ppl sleep on Montana and now try to have other guys ahead of him. But dude was 4 for 4 in Superbowls, never threw a pick, was just flawless in all 4 games and did miraculous stuff. They blew most teams out, he won 3 SB MVP, and was clutch when needed to be. Joe Montana is a close 2nd to Brady tbh, but he's been more impressive in SBs overall and for 1 game I would rather have him than anyone else 🤷🏾‍♂️

I would take Joe Montana then Tom Brady. The 1980’s was a tougher time. Teams were stacked, including Joes, so his competition and game were tougher in my opinion. Dudes smoked cigarettes in the locker room. Mean sons a bitches.
