There has been a great debate for many years as to whether a 2 door or a 4 door Jeep Wrangler is superior. My wife and I are fortunate to own both and in this video we'll share with you a few things about her 2 door that have gone wrong over the last 3 years and then share with you the pros and cons of a 2 door vs. a 4 door.

4 door is like any other all around people hauler SUV. The 2 door on the other hand, is the iconic, timeless, mud-in-your-DNA 4 wheeling machine we call a Jeep. Period

In 2008 purchased a new 2 door Jeep Wrangler Sahara. Purchased with the idea of small town runs in northern, MI, something for fun. In 2018 we decided to load it up, take a trip throughout the West, making our way to Seattle, WA for a flight to Alaska. In total on this trip we hit 14 Nat'l Parks, traveled from Montana to Arizona, totaled 11, 000 miles in the lower 48 with gas mileage at 20.3. Not a single issue. We left with no idea when we would return. We added additional cushions to our seats for comfort and shelves with rear seat removed for 2 tier packing as we needed summer clothes for southern states, cold winter gear for Alaska. Fast forward to 2021, Jeep has 52, 000 miles, we are 76 and 80. For us, a trip of a lifetime!

I'm buying my first Jeep on Friday. I'm 57 years old and have never owned one. I decided on the 2 door because it's something I've always wanted. I wanted the "iconic" Jeep look. Thanks for the video.

After owning a 2door wrangler since 1988, I can say that space is an issue you "learn to overcome".. Getting rid of the rear seats actually buys you tons of room

NICE! Having a wife that shares that Jeep passion that you do is like winning the lottery.

Regina reminds me of my daughter. Despite your best attempt to make the 4-door the winner, she was right there at every turn to make sure you and everyone knew that her nameless 2-door Jeep was perfect FOR HER. That’s why we love her. Another great video Brad and Regina 👏🏼

I had a four door but it wasn’t any fun. I now have a two door and I absolutely love it. It is way more fun.

I am on my 3rd 2 door and absolutely love it. This one is converted to Overlanding and NO back seat. Rooftop tent works great!

It is awesome having a wife that loves driving a Jeep and has an interest in the Jeep.
When I talk to my wife about my Jeep she yawns right away.😂

For 20 years, I drove a rusty 1994 wrangler…not so comfortable, but really practical. I went so many places and never worried about getting there.
I’ve since upgraded to a 2021 Toyota Tundra and I love it! Super comfortable, but not super practical when I think of the places I went in that old rusty Jeep!
Seriously, it would be nice to own 5-6 vehicles for different tasks. I’d still buy a 2 door Jeep to get into the back-back country if I had the means.
Great video as always and I have enjoyed seeing the 2 of you in these videos.
Cheers.

Considered a 4dr but bought a 2dr. My thought was that owning a 4 door wrangler is like owning a 55 liter backpack. The extra space entices you to carry a lot of excess gear.

Brad, you will never win an argument with Regina. Whatever "good" points you bring up she has a counterpoint or her opinion which is always 🤔 a winner. You guys are an awesome couple and that alone make your videos so enjoyable.

2 door is the best!! I fed my daughter through the window into her car seat in the back of my 2 door for the first 3 years of her life until she was big enough that I could put her in the passenger seat and let her climb into the back between the front seats. With the top down, it was easy, but when the top was on, it was such a situation lol. I'd have to unzip and unvelcro the side window, toss it on the ground, then put her feet first through the soft top bows and roll bar and everything into her car seat. Then I would climb into the trunk area to do all the buckling, still worth it! =D I've never had any trouble finding upgrades for my 2 door, you can ask my wife, she will agree haha

I bought a new 2 door wrangler recently. Compact size, simple u-turns, easy navigation through tight traffic, couldn't be happier. I can't go back to suv's or cars any more.

I have owned 6 Wranglers in my lifetime. All two door models dating back to 1974. (I’ve even had two of them stolen.)I snowplowed with two of them. ALL of them, but one, were V-8 models, and manual transmission. Maybe because I’m older, 70, I just purchased my first 4- door, not V-8, automatic, model wrangler. I absolutely love it! I tow it with a Motorhome. Perfect. Thanks for sharing both of your thoughts. BOTH of you are correct in your assessment of the differences.

One thing you didn’t mention is how easy it is to remove the back seat when packing for a trip and then reinstall it after. It takes less than 5 minutes to get it in or out after you do it once or twice and get the hang of how to maneuver it.

I think I’ll buy the 2 door after watching this. I really couldn’t make up my mind but now it’s clear. Thank you for the video.

I’m with Regina- 2 door all the way. Love the fun factor. 4 doors just too stodgy. And I solved the purse issue with a between the seats handbag holder.

I bought a Jeep last year and I only looked at 2-door versions. Just look sleeker in my opinion. Ended up with a 2-door 2020 Sport S and I love it.

I have owned 7 new jeeps. Wranglers in all configurations. Even owned a grand Cherokee. The grand was beautiful to drive, but if I bought another jeep today, it would be 100% a 2 door Wrangler. Most fun to drive! Turning circle is hands down a big reason. Thanks for your video. Cheers from Australia 🇦🇺
