you get to the backseat through the PASSENGER's seat (NOT through the drivers seat as you showed)! That makes a slight difference, as it opens up more and you have more space to get in and out.

I am buying my husband one in a few months. He had a Jeep Wrangler Sahara the first year it came out. He loved it! It drove it for years but eventually he traded it in for a more "practical" vehicle. He ALWAYS regretted it and missed his Jeeping out in nature. He is so frugal and wouldn't spend the money on himself. I recently came into an inheritance and my grown kids & I are going to totally surprise him. I think he might cry. He is my hero.... he deserves this! Now... which model? 💖

I've actually removed my back seat entirely , this vehicle isn't really meant to carry more than 1 - 2 people . And how can you say it is not comfortable? It rides so very fine. You sit high up and you know there is 4000 lbs of steel protecting you. Once you get used to driving a Jeep you never want to quit.

Over the past 15 years I have owned only live axle front end vehicles and they have their advantages and disadvantages. My wife runs a LC 150 (Lexus LX), but we needed a TOAD so the Wrangler was one of the limited number that could be flat towed behind an RV. Ordered a 2022 Wrangler Rubicon 4xe that we haven't received yet. Apparently the Ram 2500 was not what the wife wanted to drive on vacation. Wrangler 4 door only takes us out to just under 60' of total length when towed behind the RV.

This is the route the new Defender should of taken.
True to its heritage, with utilitarian design and features that allow it to be a workhorse as intended, but keep the wannabes happy.
New Defender bares no relation or intent to its original remit.

As an American it's weird to see a 2 door Sahara Wrangler as in the US it's only available on the 4 door Unlimited models
