22 years ago this is what I wanted to pursue, but had no clue where to start, Local university was clueless. Never took off. Ventured somewhere else, now I tinker as much as I can and learn from trial and error, not easy as you get older to stay focused on circuits. DOnt give up though.

This will always remain a dream for many Indian students who pursue Electronics, most of the college labs are the worst, professors harass students for assignments, they don't teach anything and students lose interest in the very first year. I'm in my 6th semester and I'm pretty sure that I will be in the IT sector instead of what I wanted to pursue. : (

The one thing that’s obvious… the lack of ESD a protection… everyone does this I know, handling PCBs as shown here is not best practice. When I was with Rolls Royce I saw a study based upon X-RAYS taken of the structure of some of the key components after the PCBs had been handled by humans in various different trials. Results showed that there was a definite thinning and weak spots building up in the structure of the wafer and the layers such that the more you handle a PCB despite the fact it still works, the PCB will break down and fail a lot earlier than the FMEA would suggest.
Working in aircraft systems you had to really pay attention to this … ok as in this situation in the video, they are just testing samples as in proof of concept so not really an issue. Obviously you should never handle any devices in production in this manner. But thought I would highlight the point.

I'm watching this just to get an idea on what I might do after I graduate and get my license. With 2 years of covid and online college I just think I'd be just some guy with a degree but with little knowledge retained.

At first I am hesitant if I'll take ece as my course ...I really don't know how it goes and what does it do even tho my uncle explain it, I'm still confused .But seeing this video I already understand it and got motivated to take it in college.

I'm surprised at how much of the day is devoted to shaking hands. They didn't even discuss this in the professional practice course.
