Those mountains look like the foothills of the Cascades here in Washington and Oregon.
There are literally hundreds of sawmills, big and small, here in the Pacific Northwest.
One day I hope you get the opportunity to come out west and enjoy our mountains, rivers, rain forests and deserts.
And they're all in the same state!

Being from the Williamsport area, I much agree that the Allegheny Mountains are really beautiful and go for miles and miles and miles. If you look at a map, large pieces of land are held by the state for hunting; so never to be developed. Of course, with those beautiful mountains, you can end up with big floods like that one a couple weeks ago. I remember the West Branch of the Susquehanna flooding when I was a kid. Love to see just how much that shepherd loves you and how well you treat him.
