Let's go back to 2008-2009 when McIntyre first showed up. Very little muscle, clean shaven, Isle of Broken Dreams era. He was literally marketed as "Vince McMahons hand picked draft". His biggest claim to fame was a feud with Teddy Long (Smackdown GM) and a small, small Intercontinental title run. Couldn't get over.

Cut to early-mid 2010s, he grows some facial hair, tight leather pants, and joins a 3 Man Band with Heath Slater and Jinder Mahal. Biggest claim to fame was a feud with Los Matadors. Couldn't get over.

Returns late 2010s, has muscle and actually tries to be a muscle brawler. Roman Reigns is being pushed as THE guy, but crowd wasn't ready for him. Brock Lesnar is out here doing whatever and always had the belts and the fans wanted the belts on someone else. Mania 36, Drew is told you're gonna be champ, but sorry, Covid happens. Somewhat over, but isn't THE guy.

Cm punk earned every opportunity he had in the past drew was nothing at this time what would make cm punk see him as threat ?! And u were the chosen one drew not punk i really don't understand why cm punk is the problem for everything according to many people the guy left the company because it was terrible and now after the whole change he came back why seth and drew are so jealous of him?
