Thank you so much for emphasizing how rare genuine fragrance compliments are, especially from strangers. It’s incredibly rare where I live too. I’m tired of this constant advertising on social media of “compliment getter perfumes” bc it requires people to be in close proximity to you majority of the time. Usually, I just take it as a perfume that’s pretty universally liked so I might like it. Perfumes are usually just for me to enjoy though 🥰

Levant is one of my everyday scents. I adore it, and I've had several, "you smell so good" compliments. It's such a pretty fragrance. Gris Charnel is one both my husband and I wear and get complimented on. Another compliment getter is Narciso Rodriguez Musc Noir. Thank you for a great video 🫶

Amber Musk by Aerin Lauder is so gorgeous. I'm with you on this; it would be one of my warmer weather signature scents too, only the performance is so disappointing. For that price point I just can't justify the purchase. I have a small clutch of 'poor performers' in my collection which I cherish and enjoy despite the frustratingly short presence on my skin and the total lack of projection but I drew my line in the sand and exercise restraint now in my shopping. It's such a great fragrance though. Bummer. So many these days disappoint me on a technical level, even though I want so badly to enter a passionate lifelong love affair with them because they are stunning, literally. Boo! Do you have any fragrances that you adore but deeply resent for not performing well enough to justify the high price?

Hi Jana. My compliment perfumes, Mon guerlain intense, hibiscus majahad and Perris vanilla de Tahiti.
Would love if people around me said something, but often they don't. In Sweden we don't like to stand so close to each other, maybe that's why nobody says something 😢.

I get compliments all the time with my fragrances. I definitely over spray and I get a compliment almost every time I go out. My husband can’t believe how many people stop me and say I smell amazing. I think if you are not getting compliments you probably aren’t spraying enough or you haven’t found the right fragrance for your chemistry. My most complimented fragrances are Ormond Jane Ormond women, Blanche Bete, mind games Linora, Gritti Because I’m free.
