Splash animation / After Effects tutorial

It's time to some liquid! A couple of days ago I worked on project where I used this technique of splashes. Now I decide to share it here for you. I tried to do this tutorial short and informative. Hope you like it.

brilliant tutorial! If it helps people, I managed to get this effect without Particular using CC particle systems 2 in after effects with a little bit of playing about.

when i try to rotate the repeated 5 of the line it doesn't rotate right, it disintegrating in different places.

when i try to rotate the repeated 5 versions of the line it doesn't rotate right, its scrambled although the anchor point is in the same place as in the video, any idea why?

Great! But at the stage when I do the repeater thing my lines all converge and then spray out. Can't figure out why!

Unfortunately you lost me at the :33 mark, "Trim Paths". In your video Trim Path shows up under Shape Layer 1, in my version of AE (CC 2017) when I add Trim Paths it shows up under Contents/Shape1 and I can't move it to the same place as yours in the video. Also the "offset" and "Trim Multiple Shapes" options show up for me but not in your video. Then when I got to the :51 mark your video shows an arch curve and mine shows an S curve even though the Start, End and keyframe positions are the same as yours, so I gave up at this point. Oh well, thanks anyhow. Like someone else said I wish you narrated these videos, or put more graphics on screen that show which keys you're typing because its really hard to follow your fast moving mouse pointer.
