I'll take the AMD for the price point It's a no brainer. I would love to see a Ryzen 9 3900x hackintosh against the I9 9900 hackintosh that would be the ultimate. I would love to see you do a series on what It exactly takes to build a that hackintosh you put in the power mac g5 case. I want to build a hackintosh and use the power mac case.

Why is the difference at 9:26 so huge? Is it because of quick sync?

Watching a Ryzen 7 competing against a Core i9 is fantastic. Considering it was a Ryzen 7 (and not a Ryzen 9) and it was running on vanilla MacOS (not an AMD optimized kernel) i'm quite impressed by the strength of AMD's architecture.

Thanks Teresa! I was missing a final cut pro x test. And also let's not forget that one could pop in a 12 or 16 core AMD CPU in the same motherboard in a few years if one needs more power...on Intel side one would have to invest in a new motherboard again... right?

AMD claims 3900X as the competitor of 9900K, while 3700X/3800X are supposed to compete with 9700K. It's all about performance/$ ratio, not cores/threads themselves. A good video tho.

And good you did not focus on price, because it so dilutes the discussion if you just want to know how similar hardware compares. once you know that you can then make your own personal price performance decissions .
