Such a joyful moments of following your channel from Top songs of 1950.
Loved music of 40s, 50s, and 60s. They’er great. Talented artists. The best eras to my personal viewpoint. So many wonderful pieces.
I appreciate your work/ efforts. Once again, thank you.

I was a tiny kid back in 1953, still my retentive memory recalls with fondness some of the numbers listed in this upload. I'm walking behind you by Eddie Fisher; Ebb Tide later becoming more famous with the rendition by the Platters; Pretend by Nat King Cole. This velvet-voiced singer gave us a number of hits during the 50's. Crying in the chapel by June Valli; Why don't you believe me by Joni James. She also gave us a fantastic version of There must be a way, originally sung by Johnnie Johnston. Vaya Con Dios sung hauntingly by Patti Page. Another humongous hit of Patti's was "In Old Cape Cod.

I’ve watched these clips down from the year 1958. I am almost finished with 1953. Where are the funny songs of the early 50’s, How much is that doggie in the window (the one with the waggly tail), I saw mommy kissing Santa Clause, Cruising down the river on a Sunday afternoon? And the songs that made us smile? I will shortly see 1952, and if they are all there, I apologize.
I just saw, “How much is that doggie in the window”, In this same clip. I apologize. Thank you guys for your good job!

About a month or so out of high school Elvis went into Sun studios downtown (July) and made his very first recordings (two songs) - his First HIT song was 1 year later (July 1954) "THAT'S ALRIGHT MAMA"

The Song "Why Don't You Believe Me' by Joni James came out in the fall of 1952 and was a number 1 hit towards the end of that year.

I was nine years old in '53 and my older sister bought everything Joni James recorded. Still have all the 78s, 45s, albums and of course, CD remixes. Met Joni at her special fan reunion concert in Chicago, 1990s. What a super-talented, gracious lady!
Sure, early Fifties music was lame; but please, pick out the treasures (Nat Cole, Tony Bennett, Perry Como) that will endure in our minds forever.
