Great point David. It seems counterintuitive, but people like me, with sensitive skin sometimes do better with more aggressive razors or the 6 plate on the Rocks as they are not constantly going over the same area and removing beard with fewer strokes. This is the root cause of the irritation.

I start wet shaving in the End of November 2024 and have a King C Gillette, Fort Tempus and then the Merkur Futur and im waiting for Amazon to send Merkur 570 progress!
I think you may try the Futur again because im new at this and i just have a nick at my first shave and no more!
I dont think is agressive but efficient!
I try 1 to 6 and is excelent if you take care with the pressure and feel the blade you gonna be fine!

Im waiting for 50 personna blades and 50 treet and 100 Astra, a TOBS sensitive skin and some tubes of white proraso and wisth azel(because of you)!

I tried a nacet on plate 4 had to go back down 😂😂😂😂 too much too much! It was smooth but you’ll feel the irritation after the shave for sure it catches up with you
