In 2016, in our centenary year, we are celebrating modern nursing.

The work of nursing staff today is varied, complex and skilled, and far from the stereotypical view of our profession.

Nursing staff work in diverse settings - in hospitals, communities, the workplace and the classroom - using their expertise to adapt their nursing skills to offer the best care and support to their patients.

Through innovation and dedication, our modern nurses offer solutions to many of the problems faced by the NHS.

Good to hear the personal stories of nurses and how they feel about their work, although I am sure some stories are not so optimistic. Quite a pressured role.

NO BALANCE
Be nice for a change if we could just get the true balance of a subject.

None of these people are genuine or they would not have lasted in the profession.

It is a subordinate, hierarchical rank and file institution.

Run by a handful of 'elected' favoured people at the very, very top and I mean if The NHS has over a million employees there are less than hundred directors.

If these foot soldiers told the truth about the regimal system, they would eventually be weeded out and smeared from high above as antagonists and underminers.

Positivity does not exist without the negativity and I want to resonate, not be lied to, thank you.

A perfectionist personality by day but a narcissistic one by night is closer to the truth of anyone.
