So true about oil temp. We should have a neon sign made for the rear window, that can be turned on/off by a switch.
"Oil Temp Low - Please Pass"
People probably wonder why we are driving like an ancient grandma but the oil is just cold at the moment haha

I’ve owned my 2015 focus St st2 since 2015 and this car still makes me smile.
Big learning experience as I built it over time .
I’d definitely recommend for it for anyone looking for a fwd hot hatch

In our Manual transmission and driveline class at ford they told us you check a clutch by putting it in 4th gear and seeing if it stalls at a dead stop. Basically checking to see if the clutch is engaging or not when you release it

Good common sense information. I tell my young kids don't step on any car until it warms up. Just retired and want an ST as my last car will be a good barn find for some kid some day. Unless my millennial kids fight over it. lol Helpful hints when looking for a good used one Thanks.

Got my ST like 2 weeks ago, your videos have been priceless. Luckily enough mine was 100% stock, and from this video learned I have ST3 which is neat!

The ticking noise when engine is running is the direct injection system - the injectors are just loud when they spay- same thing in BMWs and AUDIs with DI.

Bought a 2017 FoST brand new and had it for 3 and a half years until I traded it in for a new Mustang a couple of months ago. I out 83K miles on it and not a single problem out of it. It was slightly modified and I beat the shit out of that car. As long as you do your maintenance and you don't over modify it and be too aggressive on the tune trying to get every bit of HP you can then it is a very reliable car.

180km from new my issues have been...
-2nd gear synchro is a problem x 2
-Water leaking in through vents behind back bumper, it will fill your car up with water.
- Right hand side cv shaft bearing x 2

You can disable the symposer with a tune too so it might not necessarily be stock if it still has the tupe

I hope in the next few years I can still find one of these. This would make an awesome daily.
