Engine Bay Detailing! Complete Tutorial To DEEP CLEAN The Engine Compartment!!

In this video, I share what I use to freshen up engine bay compartments. Manett's Megashine is amongst 4 fine products I rely on when addressing the engine bay compartment. This All-in-One formula is usable for every surface except fabric and alcantera.

Special conditioners rejuvenate plastics, leather, and rubber.

Usable to seal your paint for a high gloss shine and clean your glass, MEGASHINE is truly the one bottle you need in your ride!

Always do the engine bay. Usually use a leaf blower instead of the compressed air though

Good video. I think the dry foamer is cool. Good way to do that. I really like your new shirt. Pretty cool. Nice design.

Love engine bay cleaning. We already do interior and exterior, no reason to skip the engine bay. Keep it *all* clean! 🍻🍻🍻🍻🍻

I do mine regularly. I love it. Your trim coating is on my wiper cowl. I need to continue to coat the rest of the plastic.

Hey Bri, I took your advise on using megashine on an engine bay. However for rinsing off the cleaner, I use a Scotts pump sprayer. The kind you use for weed killer. Of course I've only used it with water for this purpose. Also great to rinse down door jams and the dog legs on the rear doors. Btw, wife uses my sprayer to water her plants. hahahaha

Appreciate the video Brian. I admire the shirt you are wearing in the video. Is that available for sale?

I've always heard that the underhood insulation should not be cleaned with too much liquid, I assume the foamer does not get it very wet. Great video though..

It’s great that your cleaning the plastic covers on a 2020 or newer vehicle but could you show us in a new vid how you would clean an actual engine compartment without the plastic covers on?

I like the products that you have selected and their application. I don't consider cleaning off the plastic covers engine detailing. Just my personal opinion.

I had always heard that you shouldn't wash your engine because of the possibility of getting your electronics too wet. However, the owners manual for my current car (2012 For Edge) actually recommends it at least twice a year. So I've started doing it in the fall and spring.

I’m confused about why you made it a point to say the foam has very little moisture in it, so not to introduce a lot of water to the engine bay, but then you hose it all off with a pressure washer. Did I miss something? Thx

Brian what do you do with the engine bay of an older classic? Aluminum valve covers, chrome air filter top, painted black inner fenders, gloss black firewall with coil and crane hi-6 etc etc. You know a hot rodded older car. Been busy with life the last 10 years and boy has my old camaro engine bay gotten a little funky sitting in my garage.
