I have had similar results with the Series 8. I read in a review that it really does well with a wet shave. They were right. I have tried out in the last couple of months the Series 9 Pro, Arc 6, and Series 8. As strong as the Arc is, it did not do well with the more than 2 days of growth. The Brauns were way better in that regard. I can say that used wet, the Series 8 made my head and face BBS. I did not use the Series 9 Pro wet. Crazy to me that the with taxes I paid 144 for the Series 8 and wet shave wise, it was as good as the 400 dollar Arc. Needless to say, I am sending back the Arc 6. Nice review, thanks for posting.

Quick question, If anyone knows, Braun Series 5 looks are pretty much value for money, but Braun Series 8 or 9 are unaffordable. Is there any massive difference in quality or usage results of Braun 5 and 8/9?

I do wonder if it works well on body hair not just face 🤔. Kind of tired of using a standard razor and if electric works it would save me soooo much time! Been looking at this and Manscape.

Yeah this thing works like a champ 🏆 I shaved my face 🦴 dry works totally fine & I'm used to using a 5 blade 🪒 with shaving cream... & then I was like I'll try this little attachment & it shaved right thru my chest hair no problem then my armpits & my arms... I look goofy now cuz I'm not used to doing this 😂 but hey I had to try the new Braun 5 😎💯👍👍💪 still full 🔋
