I compared my Braun Series 5 vs my Braun Series 9 to see which one was better. I hadn't shaved for 2 weeks because I was on military leave, then I tested both of the shavers against my beard.

My brothers, Don't do what he did. If you got a few days worth of beard, trim it down with the back piece (that's what it's there for) than use the foil on the now shorter hair. It will be much quicker and more comfortable! Pro Tip!

Thank you for your service! As a not black man, and maybe related to your bump problem, is that I can tell you one thing I loved about switching to the Braun razors was no more in-grown beard hairs.... and my Braun never 'bites' like my old norelco did if I was rushing.

Good video, I just got the 5 series a couple months ago for $79 at the BX. Saw the 9 series is $50 off for $149 at Costco this Friday. Definitely getting it now. I've had same experience with the 5 as you do in your video... it's good, only after going over and over on the same area.

You should be openminded about using shaving cream and shaving while in the shower. Speeds things up by a lot.

TBH, the 5 did a much better job on your face. Assuming equal time with each razor, the shave made by 5 was much closer

I’m in the process of getting my physical, contract and future dates. I’m highly concerned about the time alotted for shaving, best shavers and how quick they can work across the face. I enjoyed this video and found it just as informative as your others. I only wish you gave us a timeframe for each 🥲😂 but great content overall

The Series 5 still works especially well having purchased in 2017. In the video I didn't see much difference between the results of the 5 and the 9. Both sides looked clean and smooth.

I’m a white dude but have a coarse beard and sensitive skin. I’ve tried everything and I love my Norelco 7200 shaver, it gets all the crazy neck hairs without giving me a heat rash.

I'm retired AF myself. We couldn't have electrics in basic. I have a 3 series. I like it but it has good days and bad. I have places on my neck like you that are tough to get. I may upgrade to a 5 series. Best of luck in your Career.

Bought the 5 today and used my regular cremo shaving cream along with it. Afterwards it feels great and not irritated at all. Still used the andis t-blade to edge the mustache because the included blade sort of pulled. Great buy so far 🤝🏽. Appreciate the review
