One of the best tunes ever written, thanks so much for posting.

I thought this kind of music was shit when I was a kid. But I recently, accidentally punched up a Jackie Gleason album, followed by an Esquivel, then Martin Denny, Provocative Percussion LPs, Les Baxter & David Carroll -- these were freaking well-arranged intricate masterpieces by these orchestras.

I'm surprised the Beats didn't tune into this sultry well-played jazzzy (the 3rd z added on purpose), relaxing music when they were writing. There's nothing challenging here (like Coltrane or Charlie Parker) it's all just poured into your head like syrup & it's satisfying. The percussion is extraordinary at times. I'm onto Yma Sumac next -- heard a lot about her but never experienced it. Multiple octaves I understand.

Oh, and some 60s Italian orchestra leader Armando Sciascia's "Tiger Twist, " that's hot with some Italian jazz sax sizzling through the instrumental & a jazzy drummer that is fiery. This is a lost gem.
