Cities Skylines is hellva masterpiece, with its often release of new dlc, it brings me back to this game every time. (Paradox DLC system is annoying but still keeps me excited)

The problem with CS is how it' basically a traffic manager, there's not much depth besides making cities look pretty

Cities Skyline is a builder simulation and a traffic manager, there is no deep in anything else, it lacks the complexity of economy and society management of the old Sim City games. Cities Skylines is currently “the best” city building game only because it doesn’t have any modern competition in this genre, but its a very shallow game.

If those game could involved building technology tree to encourage the building trend, that would be good. City skylines: Like mult-escalators, reinforced bar, regenerate concrete etc. With also aging of buildings. And social policies like encourage college degrees or balanced class economy like germany.

Tropico 5 should be there!, It's my favourite City Building Sandbox game, Yeah after all it's Civics based game but still...

Cities Skylines games is also my favorite game but the game SimCity made by their developers are Insanely HARD!!!

Shocked this even showed up when searching for a more optimized city builder than Skylines that doesn't constantly hauk over priced DLC, and no, Simcity 5 ain't it.

I honestly agree that Cities: Skylines is an amazing game. I just don't like how the maps are in that game. I want a flat map and the game doesn't really offer what I wanted.
