The exhaust brake button is illuminated orange on the Silverado HD when it is active that's how it tells you.

Andre was criticized before for not knowing anything about trucks. I always thought it was just trolling. But at the same time Andre has become an expert and the entire TFL brand is respected in the auto review industry. You guys have developed a very reputable testing system for trucks and I think manufacturers are paying close attention. Credit to the entire team, and Mr Truck, but a lot of credit to Andre. Your style is great. It’s a winner.

When driving a Ram downhill with a trailer, (I do this for a living), I take off cruise control, and trailer tow haul, and use my foot with full engine brake on. It works really nice for long steep downgrades. Try it.

I like the fact that the Ram has trailer brake settings for straight electric brakes or electric over hydraulic brakes.

Great video! Enthusiasm was awesome as well. I was too surprised at the results. Let's hope you guys get the dualie for the Silverado soon to test

The hardest working Workhorse in the lineup is... Andre.

Remember when trucks had crank windows, bench seat, and you weren’t afraid to scratch farm remembers.

This may be the most professionally edited video you guys have ever done. NICE WORK!

That's impressive. a 3/4 ton at almost max tongue and 90% trailer weight rating finished in a draw with a 1 ton dually pulling at roughly half it's rated maximums.

I love the sound of a diesel through 20 feet of government regulated exhaust

You can't beat the stability of a dual rear wheel truck. Period.

Wow! I knew the Cummins punched above its weight, but I can’t believe it tied the Chevy with 4 less gears and 50 less horsepower. Absolutely amazing.

I want to see a battle between power-wagon, tremor and AT4.

Please make it happen in the future.

Congrats on convincing GM to get one to TFLT for a first run up/down the Ike Gauntlet. Nice even handed comparison of what appears to be very different trucks. In the future when you have more access to the GM products I would like to hear how comparable gas, and separately, diesel SRWs do in longer towing runs with some reference to driver comfort. As a tall person, from the waist up, I'm finding many of these newer trucks have a seat height that leaves me with a forward vision that's a bit too high even after adjusting seats. This year is a new truck year for me so I look forward to reviews of the 3/4 and 1 ton SRW trucks.

Cummins and Asin all the way. I know it's a Ram, but until you drive one every day you wont understand. Nothing wrong with the Chevy, but hey it's a straight six cummins. It's a beast!
