Silverado Trail Boss versus Ram Rebel: Which one would you pick?

Best looking and reliable truck out there. Out of the few people I know that purchased a Ram Rebel - they said the screen size does not really matter to them, but the truck has had a lot of problems/fixes. Chevy, all day.

Traded my 18 Silverado LTZ for a 2020 Trail Boss LT 6.2 two weeks ago....I'm never going back to the 5.3.😁

Larlos Cargo, glad to see you reviewing the Silverado, I'm buying the 6.2 TrailBoss in a few weeks

I believe the LT trim is fine for a lower mid level entry package, it's the upper mid level and higher level trims like the LTZ and High Country that needs a more lux looking upgrade. The GM trimmed interiors will hold up fine for a long time but they need to go back to offering a separate premium luxury interior from the Tahoe like in the past.

Anyone complains about fuel economy in a full sized truck shouldn't own one. It's the nature of the beast.

Figures that Chevy came out with a 6.2 a year after I bought my 2019 Trail Boss. With that said, that’s enough to make me want to trade up!

Couldn't agree more that the shifter goes on the column where it is. The console shifters in some trucks are such a waste of space and the dial or pushbutton ones on the dash are horribly placed when you need to manually shift/lock out higher gears (like when I tow, have heavy payload, drive up/down mountain passes or all three, which is every single weekend). If Chevy uses the new Tahoe/Suburban interior with the dash push buttons, I hope they have the sense to continue with the column shifter in the pickups so the many drivers that manually shift often have the column shifter handy rather than reaching up to the dash like the Tahoe. Or, if it has the push/pull button shifter on the dash like the Tahoe, they could integrate an up/down shift button on the steering wheel.

I have the 2020 Trail boss with the 6.2 and was disappointed with the sound of the engine from inside the cabin and outside. So I purchased a corsa sport catback to accentuate the 6.2. 10/10 now. Sounds like what it's supposed to.

Yes the dodge interior is nicer but for me chevys seem to hold up better. I run my trucks into the ground. My current truck is a 2002 so the 2020 interior is a huge upgrade from what I have. Hell my truck now has a cd/cassette player. I buy a truck because I want a truck not a luxury car I dont need all those bells and whistles because sooner or later that stuff breaks and costs way to much to get fixed.

I really, REALLY like this truck! sadly, I need a truck capable to tow more :( And in my country, the only 2500 series that I can buy is the ram 2500. so.. ram 2500 will be..
but if I had to choose between ram, chevy, or ford, I would choose chevy.

I noticed that your truck has the blacked out silverado badge on the side of the hood while others normally have the z71 badge, did u change that or is that custom? I prefer the blacked out silverado badge btw

Okay, when you got to the acceleration test, you started smiling even before you could announce what you were about to do. Nice.

Put the new Tahoe interior in the Silverado and it would be so much better.

Be nice if the “auto start/stop” could be switched off. Bet if I checked the forums, guys have figured out a workaround. Inventory is extremely because of Covid-19, so I’ll shop next year, and maybe the interior will get a much needed makeover.
