Grand Canyon Skywalk - Best Grand Canyon View in Arizona

Located on the Western end of the Grand Canyon not far from Las Vegas, the Skywalk is located on the Hualapai Indian Reservation that was established in 1883. The Hualapai believe that the Canyon and the Colorado River some 4,000 feet below the Skywalk are living entities infused with conscious spirit. These indigenous people invite you to come walk on their land and experience what it has to offer for yourself.

I was lucky enough to see the Grand Canyon from the rear ramp of a CH-47 Chinook while flying in the U.S.Army as a crew chief in 1983. The view was a breath taking experience. We were returning to Ft.Carson, CO from Ft. Irwin, CA while on a training mission.

BEAUTIFUL, SPECTACULAR & AMAZING VIEW! But I can't picture myself walking on that skywalk!!😨 Just too much for me. I'd rather walk on firm ground. 😉

Best view is from a helicopter, the landing on the floor, getting out to be served a champagne lunch! I got some awesome photos, and having lunch there will be the ultimate lunch. Great memories!

You are forced to pay for a short bus ride from the parking lot, can't take your CAMERA(huh????), plus the obvious charge of walking ou on the thing. A gross tourist rip off.

Just so you know, you will have to pay for a bus tour in addition to the skywalk, will not be able to take your camera with you, and you will be searched airport style.
