At UFC 219, Khabib Nurmagomedov absolutely mauled Edson Barboza for all three rounds winning the fight by a dominant unanimous decision, it seems as though the current UFC lightweight champion Conor McGregor saw the fight & today he posted this on his Twitter saying. “That Dagestani was dog shit the other night, you’s are all nuts. Game full of sloppy bums asking to be slept. Pay me my worth & kings back.” Khabib Nurmagomedov responded back saying. “Shut up #tapmachine.”
Conor McGregor was last seen inside the octagon at UFC 20 where he became the first ever 2 weight world champion, since that time, he fought Floyd Mayweather in a boxing match where he lost by TKO, with Conor McGregor holding on to the lightweight title for more than a year, the UFC President Dana White has mentioned that he expects Conor McGregor to be back in the summer of 2018.
With Interim UFC Lightweight champion Tony Ferguson next in line for a title shot, Khabib Nurmagomedov may have to wait for him opportunity to fight Conor McGregor or possibly take 1 or 2 fights, so guys, who do you think would win if both Conor McGregor & Khabib Nurmagomedov faced off in a title fight, let me know in the comments section below, thank you!

Champions always say, it's harder to stay champion than to become one. There's a lot more pressure when you are the champion but Conor has done everything to stay away from putting himself in a position of real pressure. A true champion should try to defend his belt as many times as possible to create an era. Instead he fights Alvarez who is 4-2 in UFC and Diaz (19-11) twice and Mayweather? WTF? He should be fighting both Ferguson (23-3) and Khabib (25-0) to start with. But he's not going to do that. He is not going to risk his reputation. He will price himself out of the fight, but then will have no problem doing a show fight for the 3rd time with Diaz or a catchweight fight with St Pierre.

I think khabib because conor got takedown by mendes on 2 weeks notice and khabib has proven his chin is really good because barosa landed a clean weal kick on the chin in the 3rd and he just walked it off and kept going

Conor follower here, i hope the fight happens and conor wins, but i'm objective guy and khabib is getting better and better. His pace is as frantic as humanly possible and unless conor connects him some times in the first round to the point to at least hurt him is not gonna end well for Conor. That all being said, i wouldn't be surprised if Conor finish him in the first round since he destroyed aldo and eddie when no one saw it coming. You never know with Conor.
