Gila Privacy Window Film

In this video home improvement brothers Dave and Rich and Dave's son, Caleb, show you how to apply Gila Privacy Window Film.

There are 2 main reasons why you would want to use this product.

1) as a decorative flair, which this video demonstrates as we apply the film to kitchen pantry doors

2) as a privacy covering. Ack, we applied Gila privacy film to a second floor bathroom window, but we forgot to show it! However, it worked out great because the light still comes through, but it is totally private.

Gila Waterfall Privacy Window Film:

Gila Privacy Window Film Application Kit:

Cut the privacy film about a half inch larger than the window that you will cover. Peel off the backing to reveal the adhesive.
Apply the solution to the film and place on the window, adjust to get it exactly how you want it. Trim the edges with a razor or the Gila tool that contains a small razor blade by running it along a straight edge. Use the strait edge to adhere the film by pressing against it. Remove any air bubbles and excess solution.

That's it!

Really nice question I’m thinking of doing this to my front door how does it look on the backside looking through do I need to do both sides of the windows to make it look like it’s glass from both sides thank you
