[Power BI] How to Create New Summarized Table from Existing Table

Power BI tutorial for beginners on how to create a summarized table from an existing big table. Sometimes in power bi we just want to create a table with specific columns and aggregated function like sum or average etc. and in this case DAX summarize function can become useful to create the summarized table from an existing table.

Thx. It's perfect because I need a table with a I needed a table (from an existing table) with a unique field ! A Summarized table is the solution. This Summarized table will be able to link with the table fact now !

If I create a summary table and then create a slicer from the original table that was summarized, is the summary table supposed to get filtered by the slicer? Thank you.

Can this be done for multiple columns? Foe example if I wanted to sum sales and costs?
