I was screaming as they came to the line. Absolutely epic week and race. I can't wait for '24. Hopefully some WEC teams will show up and get their hands in it.

It was a great race and it delivered on the hype.
A big thanks to YOU for all the great work leading up to the race. You've earned a big fan here.

Was happy to see such a big crowd everywhere. As for the race, give Porsche and BMW another year to get to the level of the Acura and Caddys.

The IMSA radio feed was excellent. They really paid tribute to Dr. Don and his role in merging the sanction bodies. This race had it all. Including controversy over BOP in GT. That will get worked out.

Cooper finally got his victory in lucky number 13. There had to be plenty of discouragement along the way to winning. He kept his head down and hopes high. I wish him the best on his next race through life's journey.

GTP wasn't as exciting as I was hoping for but this is race number 1 of how many to come?

I wasn't even paying attention to LMP2 until the end.

We have Bathurst this weekend and Sebring later. The sport is healthy. 2023 is looking great!! And again, thanks for your content and the live stream on Sunday.

I'm new to this IMSA world, but loving it so far! I went to my first (but definitely not last😉) Rolex24 race on Sunday to catch roughly the last half of the amazing event. Totally worth attending! Everything was awesome...especially being trackside and catching all the sights, sounds and smells of it all! I would for sure recommend that anyone who is able to next go around, to get out there! You won't regret it!

I'm kind of a new fan, this will hopefully be my first year where I watch the full IMSA season. I got drawn in because I'm a Team Penske fan (in both NASCAR and Indycar) and I really enjoyed last year's Rolex 24 (which was my first Rolex)

Just discovered your channel before the race & subscribed! Thanks for this great content. Question: based on the BOP data IMSA releases, is it enough info to decipher/explain where the advantages & disadvantages are (especially GT class)? And if so would you ever consider making a video explaining it? I’m a Ferrari fan & as my first time attending the 24 I was extremely let down for the lack of competitiveness from all 4 of our cars. I’m still trying to understand the pdf document IMSA released, it’s very technical. Thanks!!

I was there ..the announcers totally forgot about the LMP2 race ..they were jibber jabbering about the GTP finish..meanwhile those two were going at it. I’m one the edge of jumping up and down following the battle for the last 10 laps.. the lead car clears the ‘Bus stop” and man this is going to be close..the guys in the booth don’t catch on until 100 ft before the S/F line..what a terrible way to lose..and a great way to win..

Where did you get the live track and position data on that beginning part? Great video! This was my 6th Rolex 24, and among the best I've been to! I'll definitely be going back next year!

Out of the four editions of the Rolex 24 iwatched this has been the worst one yet. That doesn't mean it was a bad race but the standard of the race normally is higher. The main problems were that the field spread out to much throughout the race and the BOP in GTD which is normally on point was completly of and meant that half of the GT3s were out before the race started. Another aspect was that te really long green flag run between hor 16 and i think hour 22 meant that the spread of the different classes was getting to big. It was as a whole a to clean Rolex 24 which is normally a 12 two hour sprint race.

It felt like the MSR car had a warm weather setup on, it just took off during the daylight and regressed overnight only to be dominant once again once the sun rose

Also the only thought I have about GT BOP is that they were trying to give Aston a shot at the win after 40ish years and one podium. That being said. They failed miserably at making the whole class competitive. Maybe next year.

The BOP in the GTD class in really messed up! I cannot remember a time when Porsche was so slow. It looked like Lexus had to really grind to be as competitive as they were. The Mercs were so much faster than the rest of the class. I was happy that the Acuras were class of the field. We knew that BMW was going to struggle, since they has so much trouble before the race. The Penske Porsche seemed under prepared for the race. I was sad to see that the Crapallics were as strong as they were, I hope that they fall off in the future races. Otherwise it was a great race.
